About this Track

This is the official vertical race route of the 'Achensee Skitouren-Genuss' event. It follows the edge of the ski slope from the valley station of the Rofan cable car up to the mountain station. It is an ideal training route for fitness-oriented ski tourers who prefer a safe environment on the slopes.

Parking: Car park Rofan Seilbahn in Maurach

Access: By bus to Maurach, Rofan-Seilbahn stop.

Safety: Ascend only at the edge of the slope. Be aware of downhill skiers. Use headlamps if touring in the evening (check local slope closure times).
