About this Track

A lonely and challenging ski tour in the heart of the Karwendel. From Pertisau, enter the Gerntal valley towards the Pletzachalm. The route leads through steep forest passages and eventually reaches the high alpine cirque below the Schneiderscharscharte. High alpine terrain with impressive rock walls.

Parking: Karwendel valleys car park in Pertisau (paid parking)

Access: By bus to Pertisau, stop 'Karwendeltäler'.

Safety: Requires excellent alpine skills and very stable snow conditions due to steep sections. Full avalanche gear mandatory.
